I spoke to our electricain tonight and he repaired the light fitting in the bedroom the day after I spoke to you. He also sorted out the problem with the outside light and as I suspected it was the over ride switch and someone had set the timer in reverse. I leave the switches in the correct position and ready to go when we hand over the property so in future I will have to make a point of leaving a note on the fuse box as the temptation to change the switches when a tenant arrives happens before they read the notes in the folder.
